What do you mean Corporatism?
I agree mercenaries should go away!
We are privatising our military, Jails (bad ethical issue), Social Security, medicare, IRS and traffic ticket debt collection etc.

Yes - not only have the privatized services shown themselves to be both unaccountable and wayward, they have also injected a profit margin into the costs and managed to conceal a great deal of 'lost' money.

I worked for government contractors for a while - they definitely know how to pad a project budget. They are not motivated to keep costs down - their motivation is to 'grow' their budget.

What have we privatized recently? Our airports screeners are terrible government workers now. Our schools are still controlled by government and they are failing terribly.

The only thing we have privatized is some military efforts and that should be illegal. Troops either wear or flag or should not be there.

What is the alternative to privatization? More government control of society, of course, which is able to cause more collective harm than individuals.
