I think it would be deeper since the sponges (SpongeBob) wouldn't be soaking up all the water.

Which ocean. There are two answers to this. The Pacific ocean would be equal to 3 ft deeper but on the other hand the Atlantic would only be 1.5 ft deeper due to the Azores Mountain Range
