I read an article. It was very short and straight-forward. I felt that it could have been longer and more extensive. What word could I use to describe the article.

What word could I use to say that the article wasn't extensive enough? Is there a word for that?

I'm sure it is........

Elaborate -- the article could have elaborated more on its main points. Sounds like the article was too succinct.
