If it is someone you still like and respect and just cant or dont want to live with any longer be respectful. You dont want to lose someone important to you over this. Be honest and tell them why and most of all give them a time line. If you dont then you wont know when they are going to go.
If it someone you are having a problem with well thats a little sticky. If they have lived there and set up residency and dont want to leave then you may have to go to court.
Good luck.

Nancy you have two weeks to find somewhere else to live. Do this in private no need to make a big scene.
You don't have to yell or anything. Just tell the person and most likely they will get mad and leave long before the two weeks are up.
You also don't have to give a reason. It is your house, you pay the rent and you don't want them living with you anymore.

Sounds like your talking about your mother-in-law. I understand. It is not very easy. But it is also a way to strength yourself in ways you can only immagine. First of all you need to be patient. Expecially since we have our own likes and preferences in how we do things. Just try to remind yourself that it is a way to set an example to those around you, co-workers, family, children. What you say and your actions are being watched. Someday you will be rewarded for your good efforts.

Tell them you will be taking care of your sick grandmother (or any other relative) and she's moving in with you next week (or month). Say you need the spare bedroom and cannot have her there anymore. Say you're very sorry and that as soon as your grandma gets better, you'll let them know -NOT- so they move back in with you...

Well...if the person is an adult and you asked them to move into your place...you can let them know this arrangement isn't working out.If the person is abusive , you can always contact the police to have them removed. Sorry for such vague answers, but didn't have enough info as to why on this post.

Depends if you have the legal right to do so. Is she on the lease? Have you come out and said GET OUT? I sure wouldn't want to be somewhere i wasn't wanted, but if i have the right to be there i tell you to kiss my hind quarters and YOU get out!
Need more details.

I had a lousy roommate once. She had not paid rent or utilities in four months, refused to move after I demanded she move so I talked to a Wicca friend. She told me to put cianne pepper in her underwear drawer. It worked, she was gone in less than thirty days.

I would think that you would set the person down and have a talk with them. Tell them you don't think it is working out and it is time for them to leave. It's called being honest....

Just explain why you want them out and give them a time frame of when they should be gone. There's no nice way of doing this.

If you have good reason to, just be upfront and tell them the truth. Best thing to do.
