Hi, there.

In brief, it is not recommended because hair dye companies do not test the safety of their products on genital areas.

I'm curious as to what the motivation is for this??

I guess its OK as long as the dye is not irritating your skin...

Yes. The rug should always match the drapes. That is if there is a "rug". :)
