I thought it was pretty bad, and it more hysteria, than actualy history. The paintings are vague enough that you make anything out of it, and what u think of those two guys towards the end about the enlignments and how these symbols might be a refrence to 2012? can anyone debunk this?

The whole Mayans predicting the end of the world in 2012 thing is crap. It wasn't the Mayans who predicted it, it was a man named José Arguelles, He predicted it in the 20th century. His reasoning for the prediction is because the current cycle in the Mayan calender ends in 2012. As for the show it was god awful and didn't prove anything. It also did not provide a counter argument proving it to be biased and a tool to make money for the History Channel. The History Channel has become the new "MTV", in that it is no longer about what it is named for. Shame on History Channel for broadcasting this fear mongering rubbish. If you also take notice the so called experts were not experts at all. You have Mario Reading who is a renowned Nostradamus author who obviously is trying to make a buck of his jibberish. There also was a psychic, how can you use a psychic as a source, they are not scientists, just con-artists.

Yeah, I saw it more than once and I still feel the same about it, a bunch of bull pucky. And yes, there is someone who could probably debunk it. He already debunked faith healers and psychics. His name is James Randi and he has proved Uri Geller to be a fake and he debunked faith healer Peter Popoff, both on national TV. He also has a one million dollar prize to any psychic that can prove themselves to be real. As of this date, no one has won that prize.
