It's everywhere -- the workplace, schools, clubs... how can we make efforts to facilitate willing integration of all races?

There is no realistic way of trying to combat de facto segregation due to the fact that people normally sit by the people who they feel the most comfortable around. It is not racism. If people do not want to sit with a certain group of people due to the fact that they have cultural differences then there is nothing that could be enforced to change this. Not everyone can get along with people who are different than them, whether it be race related differences or personality differences.

Are you talking about groups of people only associating with other similar individuals, e.g. white people only hanging out with other white people. Is it wrong that I may only feel comfortable around people that are similar to myself? Just playing 'Devil's Advocate' here, but different races have different cultures and some people are just more comfortable around people like themselves. They aren't necessarily bigoted or hate filled or wrong, just more comfortable that way. Why do we need willing integration? Associate with whomever you want.
