Do you remember what Bill Clintons poll numbers were like during that impeachment proceeding?
Keep bringing it up.

""AllPolitics, December 20) -- In the wake of the House of Representatives' approval of two articles of impeachment, Bill Clinton's approval rating has jumped 10 points to 73 percent, the latest CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll shows.

That's not only an all-time high for Clinton, it also beats the highest approval rating President Ronald Reagan ever had.

At the same time, the number of Americans with an unfavorable view of the Republican Party has jumped 10 points; less than a third of the country now has a favorable view of the GOP.''

Why not ? After all they put the village idiot from a small town in Texas into office . By the way Just for the record " Slick Willie" as he was often refereed to was acquitted. "Tricky Dick Was the one who should have gotten impeached but he resigned before the process could get stared & Then Ford went and pardoed him so that it couldn"t happen I guess you could say he was returnig a favor for having Nixon put him in power

So it would seem, however I really can't see her winning. Of course anything is possible, after all Americans did elect Jimmy Carter to the Presidency. If that bafoon can be elected to the White House then it is definitely true that anyone can be President.

Impeached and acquitted - why do cons always leave that last bit out?
Better than electing a convicted criminal like we did in 2000.

And yes - we are contemplating it - at the moment she looks pretty good.

No, we're considering re-electing Bill by proxy.

Not me. I don't want Hillary getting her hands on my health insurance ("national health insurance"). Other countries
w/ "national health insurance": North Korea, North vietnam, Cuba, France,Canada (just to name a few). They all have one thing in common'; they're either communist or social communist, get the picture?....
People in Canada wait for MONTHS to get ANYTHING done and at a quality care level. If they couldn't handle katrina, how are they going to handle a multi billion dollar health insurance program? Other "government programs" starting to fail: social security, welfare. Are you really willing to trust clinton (who was recently busted in association of fraud with a cocain druggie, check fox news), she already is showing her true colors and what she stands for. She already has a bf, long before bill even got his bj from monica, and you should see the smile on her face plastered all over the front page> with her bf <, at least she's not shy like bill was showing it in public. Like wifey, like hubby....and here we go again.........

No, the media just thinks they are. When the time comes we'll hopefully nominate someone who is competent, uncorrupted and electable -- Bill Richardson, for example.

Absolutely.

Republicans spent 6 years and $70 million trying to pin ANY of their phony allegations onto Hillary, but you came up empty handed. All you found out was her husband likes BJs.

No republican could ever stand up to that type of scrutiny.

Isn't this fun? We not only get our first woman president, but she will bring Billy Boy back to the White House with her for a second shot. They have been planning this for years, so it should not be a surprise to anyone who follows politics.
But then, Hillary always did wear the pants in that family. Bill always had a hard time keeping his on.
