Should I go with above the knee leggings, or over the knee socks, knee highs, thigh highs, etc? Or should I just go with tights? And what color should I go for?
The tops I wear with this combination is usually black, white, or gray.. Only the jewelry is coloful since I generally go for a sophisticated, secretary-like look, so I don't want bright socks.

Oh, and I have relatively short legs.. What are considered "micro minis" or "minis" are just 2-3 inches above the knee (way past fingertip length) for me.
As for my reference of a secretary look, go by Amanda from Ugly Betty. Hope that helps.

2] wear tights or hose or fishnets that match the boots, skirt, or top.
