Well sweetie, in my youth people tried to convince me the boogie man was real. But I was too smart for all that. Believe it or not, on more than one occaision I was actually accused of being the boogie man! LOL ;)

I was. I thought that the boogie man would come out from under the bed or out of the closet to get me. But I outgrew that.

Who wasn't? I think we all go through that phase of being scared of the "boogie man" until we convince ourselves that there's really nothing there to be afraid of.

I didn't know his name (or "it's name)..I just knew I was afraid to sleep with my feet outside the covers and sometimes I'd get "paralyzed" with fear..that something would come out of the closet etc. We lived in a 2 story big old house. I loved it, but it was scary at night.

NO, it's kind of hard to be scared of something that isn't real. But it is kind of gross when he starts to eat live worms in the squared circle.

i was to....not to mention having to always look under my bed before i went to sleep or making sure the closet or anything that had a dark space i couldnt see into was closed or locked.lol but hey we were young then.lol

yessss! when i was younger and it was dark at night and i had to go to the bathroom or something, when i came back i would always jump into my bed from a longer distance cause i was afraid he was under the bed and would grab my feet as i was getting back into bed =x
