The short answer is, there wouldn't have been one. Kennedy screwed up royally with regards to Castro and the result of not following through with Eisenhower's plan in action, the Cuban people were enslaved and their despot allowed his country to be used for Soviet missiles in exchange for oil. President GW Bush would not have changed plans at the last moment.

Bush and Cheney would have caused the nuclear end of the Southern part of the United States. Why, because the Russian Field Commanders of the missile teams had control on launching on an individual basis. If the military would have been turned loss on Cuba which it wanted, the Russians would have launched nuclear missiles on the lower South of the United States! It very well could have resulted in an exchange between Russia and the United States of Intercontinental Balistic Missles when when even one Russian Commander had launched nuclear missiles at the United States from Cuba.
But the Kennedies kept their cool and did not allow the US Military to use Nukes or to attack the Russian's on Cuba.

The deaths resulting from The Bay of Pigs would not have happened.

A better blockade would have been established to stop the Russians from shipping the missiles into Cuba. Castro's regime would have been stopped.

He would have supported the ground troops invading Cuba (which the US trained, equipped, and transported) unlike JFK, there may not be a communist Cuba today. He would not have been a spineless wimp who trains nationalists to go into the jungle to get killed and not provide support, he would have stayed the course and seen it through.
