I would have to say someone old... you have more time investd w/them and the bond is there....

i think the pain from both will be equal.. if youre with someone old, youve gotten accustomed to them..then you start your relationship with someone new and everything starts going okay so you catch feelings alot quicker than you expected and then the worse happens...youve left with a broken heart in each scenario

theyre both really bad, but i think the old someone would be worse, if they were a longtime friend or something, versus someone youve just met.

I could understand someone new doing that; we wouldn't know each other. But, if it were a long-time friend, I'd have a hard time with that one.
