The 51 year old is a man, the other a woman, and neither has a lot of money, just really really like each other, and want to be together.

To each his/her own.
When you are that age at least you have more sense then a much younger individual. and you have lived more.

I think a 51 year old man and a 36 year old woman are both consenting adults and there is nothing at all wrong with them being together as long as they are both single. The age of the daughter is irrelevant.

15 years is a bit much, but certainly not terrible. If the 51 year old had a 31 year old daughter than the 36 year old would have a boyfriend/girlfriend with a 31 year old daughter. what does having a child have to do with it?

At this age it is more about compatability than age. If you were 16 and he was 31 it would be wrong. There is nothing in the Bible against this. This was common during that age. (Even 16 - 31 because of arranged marriages and economics. The man was supposed to be able to take care of the woman) Have fun but if you break up, don't trade him in on his daughter's Ex. That would be tacky.

My husband and I had a 33 year age difference. He recently passed away after nine years four months of marriage. We have a three year old and one on the way. He was a teacher, we were very happy in life, and love and everything else that came with our marriage. I would do it all over again! :) He passed when he was 60 and I was 27. I am 28 now.

As long as they are happy I think it's great! I bet he has tons of money huh? Are you the daughter? I once dated a woman 27 years younger than I was and would have married her except my Son and her mother threw a fit.Her mother got her to marry a guy her own age and 6 months later he divorced her and took most of there money and 3 rent houses.Good luck.

My parents married with the age difference of 14, my father was 33 at the time... (you do the rest of the math). I am the eldest son (25 yrs)...

It was the only marraige and relationship they ever had... and still going super after 27 years! So in my opinion age doesnot matter if you understand, respect and love each other!

As long as it is based upon love, nothing wrong with that at all. Charlie Chaplin was 52 when he married Oona, 18 years old and they were married some 34 years until his death and they had 8 children together.

well i would say yes. because i would say a 9 year part is the farthest u can go between a couple. but it depends on if the 51 year old is a guy or girl. and the 31 is the guy or girl. if the 51 is a guy, i would say no. but if its a girl, i'll loosen it up

My 30 yr old friend just married a 50 yr old man with a 32 yr old son. Love is grand, just make sure you treat each other right and don't worry about what others think!

Age should not matter. If your both adults, there shouldn't be a problem. Dating someone that has a daughter 5 years younger is a little unsettling, but that seems to be normal these days. People have aunts and uncles that are young then they are, siblings generations apart. If everyone's comfortable and everyone's happy, then go for it.
