It's always existed; several things are involved
- mass media interest
- increased reporting to law enforcement
- education of law enforcement
- the presence of female police officers
- a social stigma now exists that wasn't there in the past
- increased understanding of the myriad of underlying issues
- perpetrator fear of punishment
- education about the subject, greater awareness on the part of the public
- education about the subject, greater awareness on the part of doctors, psychologists, social workers, judges...
and so on. It used to be perfectly allright to batter one wife and children. It was society's 'dirty laundry' and that was NEVER to be aired in public. So - it was swept under the carpet
but that doesn't mean it didn't exist.

I blame certain religions for women being seen as worthless.
For example, God actually breathed life into Adam, but when God created Eve, he did not do so with not his own breath, but out of a piece of Adam.
WOMAN WAS AN AFTERTHOUGHT.
A mere helper for Adam, Eve was made, only, after all the animals were made and brought to Adam to be named. When none were found to be suitable helpers for Adam, Eve was made. And then brought to Adam so he could name and have her. Finally, God punished Eve by making her have desire for her husband to rule over her.
According to the Bible, which most people believe, women were created, by God, specifically for men. And women aren't to be trusted. I mean look at what happened when when Adam listened to Eve, Original Sin.

Only those who commit or encourage such acts either directly or indirectly are at fault for violence against women. Everyone else is innocent.

i think it's an individual problem,it's up to that person to inflict the violence,i mean he can choose not to do it but the reason why he's doing it is obviously a reason/cause within himself.

It's because of the hysteria created by radical feminists.
Read my thread about domestic violence stats. It will explain things a little better.

I think you are exaggerating quite a bit. If you look at statistics most violence is male-male.
