I'd just like to comment on the predictable routes of "woman" (followed by two others that suggest that a woman is absolutely necessary and a man is worthless without one) and "brain/mind" (followed by two others suggesting that he doesn't have one).

As much as I enjoy a good bigoted joke (it's difficult to communicate sarcasm on forums, so please just trust me that it's there), the humor of these brilliantly witty lines is slightly overwhelmed by the more bitter, ironic humor of people who claim to be fighting against bigotry deriving joy from exactly the same ignorant, hateful humor as a group of misogynists or racists.

If you're just someone who likes to be unconventionally sexist (that is, you simply hate men instead of the traditional sexism of hating women), fine, but please don't mislabel yourself as someone who's fighting for equality; those of us who actually are would rather not have you around embarrassing us by pretending to be one of us.

In response to the original question, how about a couple of these:

"A man without a philosophy is like an explorer without his eyes."

"A man without a culture is like a bird without a cage."

A man without a woman is like an artist without a canvas.
Or
A man without a country is like a King without a thrown.
Or
A man without a car is like a hot dog without a bun.
Or
A man without an expression is like a book without words.

I dunno, just a few I thought up. Trying to remember a famous line James T. Kirk once used. Drawing a blank at the moment!
