Most vegetables do best in full sun sites. Leafy vegetables such as lettuce, cabbage, collards, mustard greens, spinach, and parsley can tolerate the most shade; they can be planted in partial sun areas with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. Root vegetables such as turnips, beets, radishes, carrots, and onions need more sun than the leafy vegetables, plant them in partial sun areas with at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. The fruit-bearing vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, and eggplant need full sun with at least 8 hours per day
Many herbs grow well without much sun. Mint plants, for example, grow well in the shade. So do sage, dill, oregano, borage, chamomile and several kinds of thyme
Some fruits also do well without a lot of sunlight. Blueberries, raspberries, and several kinds of pears need only a little sun each day.

Almost all veggies need full sun. I really can't think of any other than maybe lettuce for part shade. I know lettuce will tolerate a little shade because I've grown it that way. However, it is also a full sun veggie. Veggies will neither grow nor produce well without full sun. And, some veggies thrive on heat and even require high temps for production.
Therefore, my suggestion is to find a spot in full sun.

i would go for some partial shade because some plants cant stand too much heat. On the other hand if you have a ready supply of water and are prepared to water diligently then full sun should be fine. Most plants do fine in full sun so long as it is not too hot and they are watered when needed. Good luck!

you need to make a list of all the vegies you want to plant then look up on the net what the requirements are, some need semi shade and some can handle full sun, etc,a good search engine to get advice is google.

Not really... Full sun... Going into winter, you'll need every last beam of sunlight to get your winter crops growing... As for summer, same thing, all the veggies should do well in full sun... It'll help in higher yields of produce...
You might as well set your garden once instead of trying both...
Good luck...!
