It depends on your state and how much leading info you have on your ex ie... social security number, current or last address, place of employment, driver license number as this can help move it along a bit faster. The more info you can give to your local Attorney General's office the better. Where I'm from they have 30-90 days to work on the case but you can always call and get an update if you hadnt heard back from them in a month to see where they are at on the case as caseworkers have more than the one case. That depends upon how long their investigation takes but you may be able to go to Social Services in the meantime and apply for help there and not wait for child support in case he manages to get that postponed for some reason or another.

NOT VERY LONG..IT WILL BE AN EVEN SHORTER TIME IF THE WOMAN HOUNDS THEM AND GETS ON THE PHONE TO THE MAYOR,GOVERNOR AND EVEN THE PRESIDENT!!! once they know the woman the man's voice is never heard again......now that's a GAG ORDER !!!
