Haha that's a clever idea. Just use glue, something like super glue so it sticks well, but make sure you use pants that you don't want cos once the gue is on there is no way you can get it off, I suggest you purchase a pair of cheap pants, maybe from an op shop so you don't spend too much money and then you can throw them out. Good luck I hope it works out.

that's a great idea!
if you want to be able to take the smarties off later, i think you could take a needle and thread and wind the thread around the smarties through the pants a few times tightly, and tie a knot. then later you can just cut the string! it might take a little while to do, but it's such a great idea i think you should take the time to do it right.

I LOVE your idea. I would use Blu-Tac or double-sided tape.
I have recently seen a type of double-sided tape that is super-sticky, but peels off easily like Blu-Tac...sorry don't know what it is called, try asking a Stationary Retailer.

I think "Laur" got it. Do some sewing.
But here is what I was going to say:
Hot-glue some doubled sewing thread to the back of each candy, them sew it like a button onto your pants.

Try using a hot glue gun. That's a good idea for halloween. If you came to my door I'd have to give you the whole bowl of candy.

use packaging tape and put the smarties on the tape first and then wrap it around your butt or legs
