If you've got some mechanical know how and several thousand dollars it can be done. And you won't even have to put it under your hood!

The turbo's themselves are able to go on any car. But you have to think that turbo kits themselves all the piping is pre-bent and cut. If there is not a kit made for it, which I have not been able to find. You would have to do all that fabrication yourself. If you are successful in turbo charging it you don't just throw a turbo on a car and start driving. You have to fine tune it. Nothing over 8 PSI because then you have to actually build your engine and what not to handle the extra stress. You have to have an intercooler, bov, down pipe, ECU etc. You have to be sure that the engine can handle it. Hope this helps.

Hum.. Not to be mean, but...
Putting a "Turbo" on your car is not like changing the spark plugs. If you have to ask these types of questions then you more than likely do not have the background knowledge to get the job done, or if you were somehow to pull it off - I see a blown motor in your future (just as fast as you can turn up the boost/waste gate).
Can it be done: Yes. Will it fit: Yes (kinda). Can you do it yourself: (guessing) No. Will it cost you $5,000.00 or more: You bet.
Exhaust based "Turbo's" would take a full up auto shop 20 hours + to do (avg times) and that is with the KIT base system, SS Tig welder, Mid welder, etc..etc..
Without a kit (IE: Something made to fit exactly that car) you need all of those things PLUS a lot of knowledge in what you are doing, then 80+ hours.
They didn't make that one with a turbo (at least that design year) so there is no junkyard pulls to get one for you.
Superchargers (Belt driven "Turbo's") are more common for what you are trying to do. That does not change the amount of times involved, or the knowledge required, or the large amount of money involved.
Also not mentioned is the amount of changes to the body, cooling system, motor, electronics, fuel system, etc..etc..
I will add here that putting a turbo on a motor that is NOT designed for one is NOT smart, you will blow the motor or shorten its life to a few months (at best)
Take my advise, if you want a little more performance, get a programmer for your computer and tune it (check the 2nd link).
Lastly, there is ONE RULE with this type of thing:
SPEED/Horsepower is MONEY - How fast can you afford to go?
Vortech, V1 (baseline superchargers) start in price around $2,500.00
The V20's (high end stuff) start around $5,000.00
Chip (computer programmers) start around $200.00, and 'power kits' for fuel system upgrades start around $2,000.00 (Note: you will need all that IF you get a turbo anyway).

Theoretically yes, you can do exactly what you are saying. But stock turbos are the best for the car. Turn up the boost to get more power. A bigger turbo will actually make you lose power, because your engine is not pushing enough air to spool it up! Your best bet is to get an intercooler and turn up the boost on your current turbo for more power. Anything else is a waste of money and you will possibly lose power.
