If you have seen the Chargers-Texans game today, you'll know what I'm talking about.

After Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub throws an interception to Antonio Cromartie and Cromartie runs with the ball, Drayton Florence bumps Schaub with his helmet, thus getting him out of the game and replacing him with another QB.

Do you think Florence should've been fined? As a Charger fan, I say yes and I'd be surprised if he wasn't fined.

That was a good answer Magneto... didn't think of that one. But Florence should be fined. Because the helmet to helmet and he drove his helmet into Schaub.

I believe the QB's are protected from hits like that because of the Warren Sapp hit a few years back in Green Bay. But I'm not 100% sure the wording.

Most defensive players like to put a hurt on a quarterback after an interception, reason being that's the only time it's legal,a defensive player from this same team the Texans got cut down by the quarterback from the Dolphins and he didn't like it,even though it was a legal hit,now the tables are turned

If it was a helmet to helmet hit, then he might be fined. But the hit itself wasn't an illegal hit. In the replay you could see the qb starting to move towards cromartie so it was legal for him to get hit. It was just one of those plays when the player isn't paying attention and get crushed.

no. he was just blocking. matt was being stupid and not paying attention as he went to tackle the guy who intercepted his poorly thrown pass which looked like he already had a concussion.
