This is in response to the guy AimJeezy's question. You were saying that by calling his album N*gger he's making Hip Hop's situation worse, but maybe thats what he wants to do. I think Nas knows exactly what he's doing. I remember hearing him say that he wishes Hip Hop could be broken down, and built back up again. Maybe thats what he's doing. First it was 'Hip Hop is Dead' which got people who were once fans to doubt it, and now its 'N*gger', which will amp up the media's attacks and turn even more people off of Hip Hop. I think each album is another step in the breaking down process.

He did say we have to Destroy and Rebuild it, but that was a long time ago.

I think you are trying to find a motive that isnt there.
