if i buy an xbox 360 halo addition would it have better features and a better chance to work like an elite or will it work just like a regular 360?

The only difference besides the color is that the Elite has a 120GB hard drive and the Halo SE has 20GB..
One thing to consider is that the Xbox 360 is currently undergoing a hardware revision.. A new chipset codenamed Falcon is being released.. The new chips run cooler and will help reduce hardware failures on Xbox 360s.. Most of the confirmed sightings of the new Falcon chipset are in the Halo edition Xboxes (link below for Falcon info)

Halo's (some of them) have 65nm CPUs which kinda helps repel RRoD. Also they run cooler and quieter, some say. But its pretty much the same as Elite except for 120 vs 20gb hard drive
