No matter what commercial sites claim, you cannot have a black flame. Fire is produced by three things, oxygen, fuel, and a source of combustion. Fire always gives off heat and visible light in the regular spectrum. Depending on your fuel the flame can be different colors of visible light, such as yellow, orange, red, white, purple, blue, or even green or pink, but never black. Black is a total absence of all color because it absorbs all colored light - a flame cannot exist without giving off light of some color.
