i am redoing my room, what should my theme be? (what colors and what should i have in it?) i am kinda girly, love soccer (i dont want my room to be sporty or have anything soccer in it), i LOVE makeup and im 13, what should i do?
and i dont have a favorite color!
o and i HATE polka dots! and i dont want beach cuz i live in socal and that would be stupid when i can walk to the beach! o and no french theme either! i kno soo limited! lol

Cute, mature, and affordable...go to www.target.com and check out their room sets. They have some really nice linens available and not so expensive that you won't feel that you have to use the theme for years.

Paint your room light pink or a very pastel color because it's not that girly and also it'll look relaxing. Decorate it with flower borders or something fresh. Have like a simple theme.

Since you don't have a specific theme in mind, I would make a list of the items that you plan to reuse in the room (furniture, bedding, etc.), then go through catalogs (Pottery Barn Teen, etc.) and decorating magazines--cut out pictures of what you like, see how everything works together, then discuss your ideas with your folks and see how that fits within their budget.

Decorate your room yellow, or something sunny & cloudy. it's always refreshing to walk into a cool-colored room.
or you should choose darker shades, which would match with the winter theme.
I say stick with pastels. They're great.
Green, yellow, etc.

how about yellow walls green or blue trim stars on ceiling and go to the wallpaper store and find some cool border for around the room make it a place you will love to go into with your friends and some great pillows around to kick back on so people don't sit on your bed

ohhh ! i love this question !!
i think that you should paint your room a sky blue color
then accent it with chocolate brown like a chair or pillows or some fun window treatments then get some sort of bedspread that pulls it all together [almost like the blue and brown vera bradley purse] that would be SO cute.

go with purple and orange...they prob. fit u the best or you can do like a neon ful room where every thing is the same color of neon just to be unique lol
