Tell me if the deffinition of success and if it's right and why. You can pick any well known dictionary? I'm kind of following a random line of reasoning for something, thanks. 10 points to the first well thought out answer, even if i don't like it.

Success: The achievement of something desired, planned, or attempted.
Achieve is a key word in this definition. I belive this word means overcoming obstacles to *achieve* something. It should be a meaningful experience. If you've made the lead in every other play you've ever tried out for, then making the lead in another one isn't really a success; it's just life as usual. If you're six years old and save enough money to buy your own bike, that's a success.

Hehehe. Success is acquiring and/or doing the things in life that you enjoy. But no two people have the exact same 'list of things', so there really is no single definition of success. The other thing is that very few people ever bother to be sufficiently introspective as to really figure out what they're all about and wht the things are that -really- make them happy. They tend to follow the fads and fashions and collect material things. And they always wonder why they're never satisfied and why they always feel as if they haven't been successful. And the real reason is that they've let someone else tell them what success is instead of figuring it out for themselves.

Success i think is just a point where you can look at any aspect of your life and say, yeah, thats ok. Success is comfortable (i wanna say happy but i dont think success is happiness...to me).
