i cant remember any women saying she doesnt care what a guy looks like, we as women want a handsome man, just like guys want a goodlooking woman. how about us ladies letting the guys know we are visual too so they can stress themselves to look good like we do it for them?

I stress looks. I'm a guy. I look my best and i expect my girlfriend to do the same when we are out on a date. It is a mutual agreement. No one likes ugly people, even ugly people themselves.

Women are very visual but not in the same manner as men. This is only said because visual images are not as likely to arouse females as they are to arouse males. Lick your lips and a man's mind wanders. If a man licks his lips, some females just think he's thirsty. Not all, just more females on average.

I, personally, want to see a guy look HOT! Maybe I'm not on the average side. Then again my definition of hot is probably different than most. I like to see a man in HIS element.

It's not JUST about being attracted to someone visually....it's about how their brains operate as compared to ours.

It explains, for example, why men enjoy porn more than women (generally), and why, when you speak to a man, if you use word-pictures they can understand you better.

I'd recommend women read a book called "Why Men Don't Listen and Women Can't Read Maps"...it's an EXCELLENT book for ANY woman/man/couple wanting to better understand how their other half thinks. (Barbara and Allan Pease, authors).

Of course women don't disregard looks but it's a lot more important to a man. I don't know a man who would marry Rosie O'Donnell for her money but a lot of women would marry an unattractive man who is wealthy. Men also become very aroused at the sight of an attractive woman's body. Any attractive woman, not just the one he cares about. Do most women get turned on at the sight of an attractive male body when they don't even know the man?

I don't know. I really don't care much how my husband looks, as long as he's clean, and not unhealthily obese. My husband has terrible fashion sense, but it never bothers me at all. He's always wrinkles and that's fine with me. I loved him when he was 20 pounds heavier, and I love him 20 pounds lighter. I really couldn't tell the difference much; he was still adorable and loving, and still able to do everything I could. I would still love him overweight, but I would try to help him for health reasons... and besides... sex is better if you have the stamina for it. :P

I don't stress....my wife is a hottie who could have her pick if she wanted...I just try to look my best and take care of myself, and eat a salad once in a while....when was the last time a woman said,"I don't care about how much money he makes"? I think too many women see green....a nasty looking man can get his pick of 90% of the female population if he is rich and you know it.

I think what they mean by that refers to sex. Men can get an erection and be ready for sex by looking at you but you are not ready for sex looking at them.
