It may be a little too orangey. Use a toner in an ash blonde shade, and that will take out a lot of the brassiness; that is, if you want to remain blonde. If not, you could maybe color it a light shade of brown with some gold highlights. BTW, you are a beautiful girl, so you'd even look great with any blonde/brown shade. I wouldn't go too dark with your skin tone.
If you change your mind frequently, I'd opt for semi-permanent, rather than permanent hair color, since semis usually wash out after several shampoos and you can re-color. Also, they are much kinder to the hair since they have no peroxide or ammonia in them, and they won't fry your hair with those chemicals.

I also think what you call the "gross" colour suits you better, the dark brown makes your face look a lot whiter. I would also recommend some medium dark brown lowlights to sort of blend in with the colour you have now but not make it too dark all over.

Did you go to a salon? Reason why is you will need an expert to acheive a look without brasiness as brunettes have red undertones in their hair. Wait a while to see if you will adjust and start to like it, give your hair a break, and then go back and see if anything can be done. Lightening hair is always more hard on your hair then darkening it.
I like both by the way.

I really like the "gross" one! I actually like it better than the brown. If you do dye it again, I would go with a light brown instead of how dark the other one was.

Your hair looks really perfect how it is! I like the blonde-ish look on you--better than the brown. If you were going to dye it brown, I would say I lighter brown than you had before.

Well, my vote is for the lighter color. The dark brown is too over-powering for your light skin color. You would suit ultra light brown or dark blonde hair colors, to match your light eyebrows and light skin. I love your so-called "gross" hair color! It suits you best!

i think of the lighter shade is advantageous it compliments your eyes, in case you think of it quite is merely too orange, ask them for a toner or low-lighting. A toner will shrink the orangeness, you may grant it a extra brown hue. The low lighting will merely be like highlights basically they are going to be darker than something of the hair. It does not want a drastic replace nevertheless. i think of you probable merely might desire to get used 2 it. it quite is surely a metamorphosis from the brown.

just from a guy's perspective, i think you should go for a color somewhere in between. the brown is too dark, and the blonde is not that bad but a little darker would be better.

I'm leaning more towards the color you call "gross", but maybe something in the middle would suit you the best.
