I was trying to consolidate my student loans, so I began by making phone calls to various companies trying to find what was best for me. Well a company I called talked me into filling out this form online telling me I had no obligation and it was just to see what my monthly payment would be based on which plan I chose. Well, I was conned into signing a letter they say legally binds me to their company. I called them and spoke to a supposed supervisor who said she was going to look into it. She also stated it I had no way of getting out of this contract without getting lawyers involved. I told her how surprised and concerned about how this company tricked me into signing with their company. I told her flat out to listen to the recording of the original gentleman I talked with conversation and to check his phone logs to see that he called me 4x a day for over a week until I filled out what he asked me to fill out or the 10 e-mails requesting I fill out this information so he could qoute me on a monthly payment. Low and behold, I have heard nothing back from this company and I have no intention on staying with them if at all possible. What can I do to A) get out of dealing with this company and B) is there any way for me to take them to court for anything?

Tricked you into signing? Why didn't you read the contract first? Courts will not let you out of contracts b/c you failed to read them.

Did you give them your Social Sec Number, bank account info, date of birth and other private information?

You need to immediately get a credit report from each of the three credit bureaus to make sure there is nothing adverse on there from this company and to check for credit fraud.

Check you bank accounts and change your passwords.

Do not accept any money from this company and talk to a lawyer if you feel it is necessary.
