I don't keep monsters in my closet...(only my girlfriend).
If I got one monster, I'd be sending it to where it belonged---the ZOO.
Seriously, I don't keep frightening things,..or inferiorities secretly. My 'closets' are meant only for keeping and organizing my thoughts,..or those stuffs that need further review and refiling. Other than those, everything I am and everything I have ---'both assets and liabilities' are on record.
I believe we got to fight back that which haunts and frightens us in order to free ourselves from its very ghost that scares us each time we dare to look into our secret chest. Once we overcome and get over that 'monster',..then we can open our closet anytime....all the time.

He's grey with a big fluffy tail and he bites your ankles whenever you dare to turn on the light to get something out of the closet. He doesn't like to be disturbed. He seems to believe that the closet is his bedroom & that when I put away things in there, I'm just there to disturb him.

He is big and round, black cartoonish w/ fiery red eyes and razor sharp teeth. One eye is bigger than the other, and he is sometimes under my bed. He has been around since I was a kid. I thought him up when my bed sometimes made creaking noises and the pattern on my mattress was of red and black paint strokes. I even saw him on an episode of proud family lol and I ran upstairs screaming!
