Aww I'm so sorry first off.
It's sad to lose a close friend in any situation. If I lost any of my friends even if they moved away I would like cry because we're so close to each other. I don't know much to say, but I will tell you, I was your friend.
I didn't exactly do drugs, I tried Overdosing to well, so I could "leave" here. Hope you know what I mean by that. Lets just say my moms side of the family has a lot of mental issues some of my uncles are bipolar, my great grandma had Alzheimers, one has OCD my little cousin has ADD and me and my mother are depressed. Also that caused with other stuff going on at my home, is just not healthy so I just wanted to leave.
Thankfully I'm alive and the sole reason I'm alive or I want to e is because of my mom and my dreams of becoming a singer. I also didn't realize how badly I hurt my friends and some of my family. I am very sorry of the loss of your friend I know it must be hard, but just try to surround yourself with those who care
If you want to talk go to my profile and either e mail me or IM me and we can chat.

I lost my friend to drugs and alcohol. He would get himself so sick and then clean up for a little while til he felt better then get straight back into it again. about 18 months ago he pushed himself over the edge. I was doing the same thing he was for a while but I recognized how deadly that game was and quit. I tried talking to him and begged him to clean up and stay straight. He always said he knew what he was doing. Look where that got him. I know the pain of losing a friend and I miss him all the time. But the fact is the his life ended, not mine. I have to go on and make my life matter and if I can help you move on with life and leave drugs behind you then neither of our friends died in vain.

I'm sorry. There isn't a lot that can be said, but what a waste. If you know of any body that is using, try to get them help. Talk to them, and help them through their problems and show them you can handle any thing, and don't need drugs. If you want to have someone explain why, you won't find any answers as to why. The only one that can answer that is gone. If you really want to help and keep his memory alive, do what you can to help others. It is very hard to understand, I know I sure can't.

I really know what you are going threw my brother is getting taken away from doing drugs. If you need someone to talk to, You can talk to me.
Some might feel guilty because they think it's their fault for not stopping them from doing drugs, But it ain't your fault, Maybe it made them feel better.
At least you now know that they aren't suffering anymore because their soul is free.
