You know, the wonder is two fold about our celebrity fetish.
1) That we choose to look at other people's lives rather than our own. Is it that bad? I mean, couldn't we have syphoned some of that energy we spend reading the Enquirer and clucking our thick tongues about Britney and Angelina and Lindsay into making an interesting life for ourselves? Guess not.
2) That, since we choose to look at other people's lives rather than trying to better our own, we latch onto the horror, the stupidity and the monstrousness of other people's lives and amplify the rotten side 100X over. We are total filth hounds when it comes to celebrity lives, not merely nosey and curious bystanders. The uglier and seamier their choices and their luck, the more we seem to enjoy it.
Where's the sense in all this?

I love arguing politics so that's not a headache.
Celebrity life? I don't bother with that. If I would BECOME a celebrity, I think I could handle it, so it wouldn't be a headache either.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

I prefer to hear about celebrity life then politics...
Although as I'm getting older politics is becomming of interest to me, its a little funny

Politics is the bigger headache. I think people are interested in Celebrity Life b/c they are it is so over the top and they do crazy things. It holds people's attention.

I think politics are more of a headache, because of all of the lies our country feeds to us on a daily basis.
i don't think the celebrity life is a headache cause it's someone elses life, just shut off the tv if you don't want to hear about it.
politics pertain to all of us, who brittany spears is sleeping with does not.

Celebrity life is easier to ignore because it doesn't directly effect me like some politics, so I'm going to go with politics.
