The places where you can see solar eclipses changes for each eclipse. However, the places where the next eclipse can be seen have been figured out along with the date/time of totality or the date/time/extent of partial cover. The solar eclipse locations are along a path that can be several thousands of miles long but less than 100 miles wide. That is because the moon and sun have almost the same size when viewed from earth.
