I think I can understand your question.

Basically the US outproduced ALL the other combatants in WW2 COMBINED.

Japan ( as well as Germany ) could not win.

I'm sure its in your required readings. Reading is a must and so is taking notes on the chapters, and lectures. Your college bound so start now. Hint: Japan is a closed island and very dependent on goods imported, such as wheat, meat, etc. You can pass any class if you learn to listen and take notes and memorize notes. Been there, done that, graduated.

The US was able to produce ships, planes, tanks, artillery and ammunition faster than the Japanese could even imagine. US troops generally never lacked for supplies. The US forces continued to grow despite casualties while the Japanese military could not keep up with demand for rifles and automatic weapons, never mind tanks and ships.
