For someone who is an introvert I suppose it would be a meaningful something because they are alone but yet they are exercising their sociable side with out having to go out and talk with people so they dont have to "re-energize".
I personally am between both Extraversion and Introversion I do enjoy spending some time alone, reading, designing and making things and answering questions on here but i also really enjoy being out with my friends doing what ever.. so i dont find it meaningful to be on yahoo answers all the time.. im usually on here when i am bored.
so my answer to you is it is a possibility.. there is no definite yes or no as all introverts are not the exactly the same.â£

No, unfortunately the Internet was the worst possible thing ever created for introverts/agoraphobics. 99% of the relationships are made up and just something to get people through the day to day.
I'm a textbook extrovert, and because of that I'll probably meet most of my contacts within a 2 state radius (Cinnibuns-that mean you girl!!!). Believe me, that's not a very healthy behavior either. I could possibly end up chopped up into little bits in someone's car trunk.

I think that is a bunch of bull or an old text book as dieing young has nothing to do with being lonely or introverted..maybe they don;t have lots of friends ; but as l0ng as they don;t have some incurable deceases i believe they do fine in life,,,,,, i know a few people that are really introverted and one is 85 and the other is 67 and they walk and even jog a bit everyday and love their lifers,i think that is an old wife's tale for sure, and yes yahoo does count as it is like visiting friends; you just don;t have to get all dressed up to do it....lots of luck.

Yeah I agree. You can't be an extrovert without being confident, and confident people are more likely to be successful in relationships that introverts, if you assume that introverts are less likely to be confident.
Science tells us that happy people live longer, and their brain cells are incessantly stimulated and working. We can assume that extroverts are happier as they're are more that likely more successful in love, and falling in love released endorphins in our body, giving us a rush of happiness.

I would guess your text book is correct and Yahoo Answers does not help too much if we do not have outside contacts.

Read this article called Why Love Heals. http://boomers.msn.com/articleLHJ.aspx?cp-documentid=376471
I think that Y!A is stimulating enough for some. It surely is better than no contact at all with other humans!
