Just curious...

Let's see if I get a studio, have at least 5 grand saved up, and I'm good with money, do you think its possible? Like how much do you think monthly bills would be and how much do you think I would need to make monthly to support myself?

Oh yeah I live in Southern California.

As long as you are making over 1,500 per month, most apartments will accept you. And with your hard earned money, you can use it sparingly, and for emergencies only like when its boys night out

If you have a job, at the time you apply for the studio, the five grand in savings will favorably affect your credit report, even if you have no established credit.

You may not get into the flashiest apartment in So Cal, but almost anything is okay for a first apartment. Couldn't say about utilities, but a studio is cheaper to heat than a full sized apartment. Do most of your own cooking, and it might be possible to continue to build up your savings to buy a car, put a deposit on a better apartment, etc.
