if a person has pornography is he likely to become a rapist?

what happens if two people who are drugged and undressed in bed, would they rape each other.?
seriously.
does porn cause people to become rapists.? or more likely to offend?
what about dreams?

i would think that porn would be an alternative to sexual desire because the desire is gone?

I do not think that porn leads to a person being a rapist. I am not sure about the two people who are drugged...I would say no because they are both drugged no person would be able to take advantage of the other.

In general I'd say porn users are little, if any, more likely to rape than the general population of men. I'm talking about "normal" porn, not porn portraying rape. Men who are turned on by images of rape may indeed be more likely to rape. Not always, though. To some it is just a sexual stimulant, they don't see it as real or as something they really want to do.
However, frequent use of porn may suggest a problem in relating to a real woman; and rape is definitely related to a problem relating to a real woman! So, rapists are certainly more likely to use porn. They can't be raping somebody every time their libido asserts itself, can they?
But I don't know about the legality of sex between two persons who are both too intoxicated to give consent.

1. It depends on the type of pornography. If it is child pornography, he is likely to molest children but if it is adult pornography there is nothing wrong with it. Fantasizing about having sex with children is perverse. It is often thought of by some as perverse to watch adult porn but it can have an educational quality as well as sexual nature. Rape is not sexual or about pleasure. It is about control and wanting to cause pain to another individual that they can obtain control over and force them to give the perpetrator (s) what they want. Pornography is willingly made by all parties involved; therefore, even if it is a force situation it is not real, it is staged. pornography productions are limited by federal and state laws that they must abide by. There is a black market of illegal pornography as well though and those are the bad ones. I have never heard of any prrof to lead me to believe that someone who watches legal, adult pornography would be more or less likely to become a rapist. Being a rapist is a choice that a person makes and has nothing to do with owning pornography.

2. Rape is nonconsensual. If there are two people who have been drugged or are under the influence of some type of drug and they willingly have sex, it is not considered rape. Rape is an act of aggression toward another person. Rape has nothing to do with pleasure, only power and pain. A rapist takes pride in overpowering the other person and causing them pain. Rape is when one of the parties says no and the other party or parties have sex with them anyway. the legal definition of rape is:
Rape is an act of sexual intercourse carried out:

"against a person's will by means of force, violence, duress, menace, or fear of immediate and unlawful bodily injury on the person or another."
where the victim is unable to resist because of an intoxicating, narcotic, or anesthetic substance that the accused has responsibility for administering.
where the victim is unconscious of the nature of the act and the perpetrator knows it.
where the victim believes, due to the perpetrator's intentional deceptive acts, that the perpetrator is her spouse.
where the perpetrator threatens to retaliate against the victim or any other person, and there is a reasonable possibility the perpetrator will execute the threat -- "threatens to retaliate" means threatens to kidnap, imprison, inflict extreme pain, serious bodily injury, or death.
where the victim is incapable of giving consent, and the perpetrator reasonably should know this.
where the perpetrator threatens to use public authority to imprison, arrest, or deport the victim or another, and the victim reasonably believes the perpetrator is a public official.

3. No. Refer to question 1

4. We can't control what we dream but acting on dreams of that nature is a matter of choice. They are created by our own mind. I would not consider having a dream about raping someone or being raped premonitional. It is not a message from another world telling you to follow what happened in the dream and make it reality. That is thinking crazy.
