Theres never a time for that. This country was founded on Christianity, but Globalization and the One- World religion is trying to do away with that.

Are you willing to throw away the constitution to achieve this ? The first amendment covers a lot of ground. Including the free expression of religion. If congressmen wish to freely express there religious beliefs in a government building that's there right under the first amendment. The 1st amendment says the government may not make a law establishing a religion. It makes no mention of forbidding free access to information about a religion. The ten commandment in front of a building are just words. No one makes you read them let alone pray to them. On the other hand swearing an oath on the bible may well be an establishment of religion and should be band.

Only if you wish to overturn our Constitution.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

Anyone, including people in courthouses, etc. can carry symbols of their religion.

However, since NO ONE is forced to swear on a Bible or other holy book, since the opening prayers are voluntary, since the monuments do not break this Constitutional basic, your statements are acceptable, but will never happen except on a local level, because:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

I'm not religious. I AM a patriot. I'm also a democrat. I believe in freedoms.

Religion is an important part of American politics, so i doubt religion will cease to exist in this country. However, I do agree that religion has stepped over the boundaries a bit in intervening in politics. Politics and religion should be separated when deciding what is good for the United States. Logical solutions are better than religious solutions because many people disagree on the best religion. On logical solutions, Dems and Reps need to compromise if they have to.

end b*tching, Christians are what, the seventy 5% majority? not extra bibles in courthouses - i'm sorry, does this offend you? Why ought to it; you're figuring out directly to be indignant. not extra swearing of oaths on non secular books - you do no longer ought to... There are different books presented. not extra establishing prayers at Congressional conferences - Why? It would not harm. lower back, you're figuring out directly to be indignant. not extra 10 commandments in front of government homes - Oh, so we ought to continually no longer have "do no longer homicide" or "do no longer lie in courtroom" everywhere? could you want a society of murderers, thieves, cheaters and liars? i will say it lower back, pathetic losers such as you pick to be "indignant" or "outraged" because of the fact the U. S. has some previous e book mendacity on a table in courtroom and writes "Thou shalt no longer homicide" on the front of their homes... only ask your self: till now they bumped off prayers and caning from colleges, what share colleges have been shot up each decade? i think of you will locate the answer is a decimal.

I agree. I say start by mailing all your money with GOD on it to me. I will despose of it in a appropiate manner.

Like it or not, this is a Judeo Christian country. That is what our founding fathers wanted and that is what we have. nobody is making you do anything, however. You have the freedom to leave, not participate, ignore it etc etc.
