There are a number of ways depending on the thickness of the tie, the thickness of your neck, and the type of shirt with shirt collar you're wearing.
The most basic knot is four-in-hand. The Windsor is a popular sounding knot, but you have to be pretty scrawny to pull it off since it'll make the normal neck look HUGE.
Try this website out for all of the different types of knots. Practice in the mirror and have fun.
