Mrs. Crain. 6th grade. She was the one we all feared. You knew by 2nd grade that the fun was over when you reached her classroom. She had absolute control over everything. She had already scared us into learning before we were even in her classroom. Amazing, really.
In retrospect, she was a very good, no-nonsense teacher, who believed that if we left her class being able to read, write and speak, we would have a good shot at life.
Imagine our shock, when we found out she was our reading and english teacher (2 periods) in 7th grade too. Then our English teacher in 8th grade also.
We were lucky. She is the only teacher I visit, when I go home. (I'm now in my 40's, she is in her 80's.

Mr. Z, a history teacher/politics teacher.
He has influenced me today in I never cared about politics until I took his class. I now follow them closely and actually care about what happens in the world.

I had a teacher in high school named Mrs. Lopez. She was my office education teacher. She always believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. It is because of her that I am the kind of teacher I am today.

Mr. Castile was my 11th grade english teacher. He was so real and cool. He never sugar coated anything for us. He let us know how he really felt about certain things. He also would push us to do our best cause he knew our full potential. Not to mention he was a die-hard Michael Jordan fan! You rule, Cast!!!
