Yep. Your tendons and muscles and pelvis all stretch sooo much during pregnancy. You get stiff when you're inactive- and its still hurts even when you are. However, just keep up with the movements, try to stretch a little before- not too much since you're already stretched :)

I think I was near 7 months when I had to cut back on my walking from all the round tendon pain. But after a while I was able to get back to it. Just plow through.

There are certain hormones and chemicals your body makes during pregnancy that let muscles, joints and tendons stretch a bit more to accommodate the baby.

If you are feeling any pain during any exercise, slow it down a bit. Your body is telling you to remember you are carrying a baby! As the baby grows, you will feel more winded, more tired, and less "fit" - this is normal!

Don't stop the walking completely since it is very good for you to continue to do so. But be sure you're wearing supportive shoes and perhaps some clothes that work with you such as belly supporters if it makes you feel more comfortable.

Congrats and good luck!

I don't know about the burning, but the overall discomfort... yes. I have found that if I bend over... like lean on a counter or something, it helps ease it. Gravity is pulling at the extra weight in your belly. Just take breaks when ever you feel uncomfortable. It was hard for me to come to the realization that I just couldn't do as much anymore, but now I still try to stay active, but with plenty of breaks.

I am almost 23 weeks and have felt similar things, but not to the extent that you describe.I think it has a lot to do with the skin stretching and the added weight on your muscles. I am going to my OB next week and plan on talking about that.

Good luck! Congrats!

Yes! I felt like I could barely walk in my second and third trimester. Everyone thought I was being sucky because I wasn't really big. I felt like I was in slow motion.
