Symbols have meaning only in context. Right off the top of my head, a camel can symbolize a means of escape, a sarcastic servant, a cigarette, or a committee report. A cigar can symbolize luxury, macho stupidity (especially if chewed), masculine comfort (especially if chewed), or, umm, what Freud was talking about when he declared that sometimes a cigar is only a cigar.
In the same way, a stream could mean quite a number of things--the impermanence of human life (you can't wade in the same stream twice), for instance, or life-giving knowledge, or the beneficence of nature.
And you have NOT looked everywhere. Try a Google search on
"streams symbolize" OR "stream symbolizes"
Include the quotes, which make it look for the words together on the page, not just each anywhere, and the capitals, which make it an operator not just a word.
