Rainy days do 'cause I don't like getting wet (except when I'm in the tropics), I like it after the rain though, smells incredible and the air gets so clear. But Mondays are fine (now, it's my weekend). It's always been Thursdays I've had problems with and I don't know why. Even as a child, it was always Thursday that things went wrong, that we got "surprise" tests, mom would blow a fuse and take it out on us, something always went wrong on Thursdays and it still does. I've always LOVED Karen's voice--such an incredible voice and it was sad that she suffered from anorexia (or bulemia).

The Carpenters always had songs which made a way to your heart and never forgot them! My childhood was filled with their songs which i used to listen on radio( no tv and Cd's that time).Please Mr Postman was one of my favorite!Bless you for bringing back good memories.have a blessed week!
PS; If you are a hippie did you ever visit Goa in the 60s or 70s?

No, I love rainy days. A lot of dry wells around here.
Monday means I get to see my friends again.
I enjoy my job, so I look forward to Mondays.

I LOVE the sound of rain. If I could lay in bed all day and listen to it hit a tin roof, I would in a heartbeat.

i LOVE rainy days. the soft sound of hit hitting the windows its all dark. perfect for snuggling in a bed with a book or watching a good movie
