You have to define terrorism first.

Thomas Jefferson described the acts perpetrated by the Barbary Pirates as Terrorism back in the early 1800's when he declared war on Tripoli because of terrorism.

In my opinion terrorist acts are deliberate acts designed to make non-combatants afraid by individuals, supported by the government of a nation which has not declared war on the nation being attacked.

Using this definition the United States, to the best of my knowledge, has not committed any terrorist acts.

First, I will ask you to define "terrorist act." And secondly, I will tell you that it's all a matter of perspective. As a former British colony, our birth came as an act of terrorism (Boston Tea Party -- and the riots that preceded it). In the 20th century alone, there was "The Lincoln Brigade" which fought in Spain, we over threw the Iranian government -- just to see if we could, we armed a militia (and then promised them military support) and attacked Cuba (Bay of Pigs). The CIA (and its predecessor) has trained numerous people to carry out such "acts." Who do you suppose trained Ho Chi Minh and Osama bin Laden? A CIA trained operative blew up a Cuban civilian airliner in 1978. We've operated in Central America for decades, what do you think the Iran Contra affair was all about? I LOVE my country, but I know and understand that its hands have not always been as white and pure as snow.

I even have by no potential been against Muslims, as an instance I even have supported the Palestinians all my existence. although we've between a million.six hundred.000 and a pair of,000,000 Muslims interior the united kingdom, it quite is plenty too many and no united states might settle for such an ideological replace to that is custom. The mass immigration of Muslims Africans and others into the united kingdom is merely over the precise and unacceptable to all real British I agree that Israel is the reason of the conflict with Islam and Israel sank the united statesLiberty as properly, they're going to deny it to the top. Take a 2nd to examine the hyperlinks:

I had to look and see if you included pounding Japan into the dirt to end the war they started. Sure enough, you did. Typical.

No
Those were not terrorist acts. Reread your history. We were at war with Japan. A war in which they started by attacking us. I'll stand by my answer.

The answer would come down to your point of view.

If you ask your average American Conservative, the answer is no. If you ask your Average Liberal the answer is yes.

The truth is that the US can and will continue to protect itself from evil regimes despite what the American Left moans about.

Warm regards,
Douglas

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. So I guess it depends on who you ask and history will tell....
