You need to be more understanding...but maybe he could wear those adult diapers...they might be embarrassing, but that way if he doesn't make it to the bathroom he will be ok

Why does it disgust you?
Obviously a medical diagnosis is needed. But, still and all, it is just urine and a 'potty chair' is better than wet sheets.
My grandparents didn't have indoor plumbing until I was 18, taking a trip out to outhouse was the main way to go. However, on bad days we had to use the 'potty chair' for everything and everybody and it didn't get emptied until the weather cleared up.
Perhaps you need to exercise some charity, things can always get worse, it could have been you with the weak bladder.

okay. it's been clarified he has a medical problem. that part isn't disgusting. men can practice kegel excersises too. have him start working on it. next...see several doctors about this problem. don't get just one opinion. if it really grosses you out...then maybe it's the strong oder. try having him drink more fruit juices and water during the day to lessen the oder. cranberry juice is really good for the kidneys.
he's trying. at least he keeps the potty chair instead of having accidents everyday on the way to the bathroom. that's even worse.

First of all....communication is a must and talking with your husband will most likely solve most of your problems if he's any kind of man at all. If not, flat out tell him it's his responsibility to clean up after HIMSELF not yours. I would suggest seeing at least two different Doctors about this condition as it could lead to more serious conditions and there's medications that can help your husband with his going problem. Prostate problems could be the culprit of this and left untreated, could cause some serious to fatal out comes. At the least, have him control his liquid intake. To make it plainer, stop drinking about two hours before bed time and this should keep him sleeping most of the night. Good luck to you.

There is meds to treat a weak bladder, take him to the doctor. But I will INSIST that he dumps it out himself in the morning...
Keep in mind... for better or worse. in sickness or health.
that's your husband. what if you got breast cancer? Do you know what kind of care you will need. How many potties will have to dumped, b/c you will not be able to sit up, and get out of bed in time to get to the bathroom?
You are married..... Support your husband

He should see a doctor. I am sure there is something they could give him to help his condition. I have never heard of keeping a potty chair next to the bed. He might try wearing adult diapers. It might be embarrassing at first but who will know besides you and him.

Have you told him? if not it's your fault he doesn't know. If you have and the guy still ignores you then it's time to stop babying this guy and emptying the pot. Leave it for the lazy sot. If he gets tired of emptying the pot then maybe he'll take a walk another 15 feet and find the mens room. He has not incentive to change as it is.

He can be helped by a Dr.He should not drink liquids
a few hours before going to bed. If you have a master
bath, or even down the hall he should be able to make it to
the bathroom in time. People do have health problems and we need to look at it from both sides and try to find solutions.

Would you rather wake up wet by piss being all over you? Give him a break he has a weak bladder, but he has alot of nerve leaving you to dump the piss out. It's smart having a commode by the bed, so he doesn't pee the bed, but I wouldn't dump it for him. That's his problem he should have to clean up after himself. Stop dumping it for him, and see how he likes the smell of his own urine after a couple of days

What happened to "for better or for worse?" Both of you should go to the Doctors and find out what will help him with this problem he has. I am sure there are things that you do that grosses him out as well... Be more supportive for crying out loud, he is your husband!
