Acceptance,
If I ask the question - I usually thumb up all decent answers. Crude answers normally receive a thumbs down or nothing at all.
I almost always will attempt to thumb up my contacts - like me they are decent caring people who make good for others (and animals) around them. If I can give some form of simple pleasure to a person in the course of a day - and if this is the only means - then "why be cheap?"
I don't normally get to everything everyday and this weekend has been exceptional for me and my Y!A activity.

It really does vary. Sometimes I like to Thumbs Up everything and other times I only give Thumbs Up to the best answers.

DECENT ANSWERS! because a thumbs up is telling someone that they put a good answer! if you put a thumbs up on one that is like "yes" and thats it then the person thinks that its a good thing to put STUPID answers so they do it all the time!

I love the really sweet and honest answers, that is what I give thumbs up to.
Sometimes, I check what level a person is on, and give them a thumbs up, to help them reach the next level faster, I'm rooting 4 you people!
