You will need to use transformers. Make sure the watts on the transformer capacity is enough or you'll just blow out the fuse. You can get them here:

It really depends on what country in Europe you are referring to...most countries use 230 volts but there are 2 other points that should be considered...First of all, make sure the cycles are correct...in the US, we use 60 cycles, Europe uses 50 cycles..many tools say on them 50-60 cycles but some say only 60 cycles...The other point is that in countries like the UK, the plugs are different, which are round pins instead of the flat type in the US...there are kits sold for Euro current which include all the different plugs or adapters as well as the step up transformers or inverters..

You may be able to get rechargeable tools that have a battery of 12 or 18 volts.here in US. Then when you go to Europe all you will need to buy is a battery charger that will plug into the local electric mains there. That is the best of both worlds - cheap price and guaranteed compatibility.

most small power tools are 110 volt here and it is 230 v there a simple adapter that you can plug you unit into that plugs into their outlets should do but if you need more amperage i would sugest a 4 to 5 kw 110 v generator they can be rented or bought in alot of differant locations in the e.u.and uk
