Just like a fish since I was five years old. My mom made sure my sister and I could both swim. I inturn ensured my child and both my nephews could swim. Too many children drown uselessly every summer. One thing a parent has to do for their child is to enroll them in a swim class, they do not have to turn into experts, but they all should know how to survive if they fell into 5 feet of water for any reason.

Yes....I have known how to swim since I was 5 or 6 years old. I am now 30....so it is quite a long time.

Well, I know how but I have aquaphobia coz I nearly drowned when I was little. I had to be rescued and revived and all that. I'm ok as long as I'm not in really deep water and not too far from shore or the side of the pool. I love skinny dipping in the ocean or in a lake at night under the stars.

Yeah, had to learn to pass Navy boot camp. But...I never go swimming cuz I don't like it...I wear contact lenses, don't want the chlorine in my hair. Those tight swimming caps still let in a little water. If I HAD to swim, I could, I guess..
