Way back in the day [ 70's and 80's] wrestling was not so corporate...not so money hungry. Pro wrestling was regionalized at the time: the Great Lakes region had Bobo Brazil, The Sheik, The Bruiser and the Crusher and others. Texas had Ernie Ladd, John Tolos, Jose Lothario, Ivan Putski among others. The east coast had Harley Race etc etc then in the late 80's early 90's you had wrestlers like Kamala the Ugandan giant. I think those were the best times.

when i was 17,
that was a very good year
it was a very good year for paul london and the ssp*
we saw cryme tyme steal from their enemy(s)
when i was 17
it was actually a damn good year, i think 1997 was the strongest but i never gots 2 see that and the screw job detracts from that
(* shooting star press, we've seen its return recently with that cool little plancha version done by none other than london)

85 - 90. I feel the wrestling looked real and the story lines were better.
