Dogs require a lot more work than cats. They are basically like having a child. If you want a dog you HAVE to be ready for the commitment! Cats require about 30 minutes of attention daily. They pretty much eat, sleep and let you know when they need you. Fish would be my choice for the other. You have to clean the tank tho and feed them daily. If you leave you need to ask someone to take care of them for you.
Oh yea and as for me I have one dog and two cats. If I had to pick just one it would be my dog. Mug-Zee
