well i guess the first signs could come from the way he holds you. If you hold you ina a way that feels likes he's trying to keep you safe or he wants you to know he really does liek you then he could be a passionate kisser(big kisses that can include a lot of toungue). If he does everything quick from switching positions to moving around a lot that usually means he's a quick kind of guy which would be a quick sloppy kiss(not the best kinda kisser). If he's shy and somwhat nice .. this can be discovered with the tone of his voice and the way he looks at you which usually is quiet and deep, then he'll be a passionate kisser without that much tongue. Maybe kissing sessions with this kisser will be long..
So many things that can tell you he's bad or good, but usually some guys can suprise you and some need more experiance. Afterall the first kiss isn't always the best one..

don't know; my kissing history was not so good the boy was a terrible kisser and it didn't help that i hadn't kissed a boy either. i'm still waiting for my best memorable kiss. but i guess you just have to investigate the boy you like. look at how he dresses, does his hair, is he sexy or just cool? then just let go a little and kiss him unpexctedly those are the times you will know if kisses good or terrible.

Personal stye dictates this. Usually some good indicators are:
You don't have to wipe your face off afterwards.
His tongue seems to have a purpose, not epilepsy.
Your lips aren't bleeding when he's done.
You see stars and feel electricity all through your body!
It's not too short and not too long.
It isn't the type of kiss he'd give his mom.
He breath doesn't make you want to puke and you can tell he's brushed his teeth within the past 12 hours.

Well i think that if you tell him to eat an apple then if he has good bite then he is a good kisser or you could kiss and see yourself. And lastly if you want to do something else you could ask somebody else who has kissed him.
